L->R Monica, Grace, Anastasia, Bennett, Judy

These three girls showed great strength in character today. We pulled out of Albany, OR at 5:30 AM to drive to Washington for an all day baton clinic. We pulled back into Albany at 7pm! They met many other baton twirlers and took lessons from two new wonderful coaches, Coach Judy and Monica. Fun fact, when Coach Kailey was in high school she had a few lessons from Monica.

L->R Newcomer Roman McKay (age 4) performed for the first time. He won a participation award for his basic march. Anastasia Williams (age 7) and Bennett McKay (age 6) performed a duet winning them 2nd place. This was their first time performing this routine and Bennett's first time ever performing a routine! Congratulations!

Bennett and Grace traveled to Portland to compete in the Oregon State Baton Twirling Championships. Bennett came home with two 2nd places in her basic march and Grace came home with a 4th in basic march and passed her level one trick meet! Congratulations girls! We're all very proud of you and can't wait to see how you do in the future!

PS. This was Grace's first competition!

Bennett placed 3rd in Novice 0-6 Basic March in her first ever competition during a trip to California. Way to go Bennett!

Reign Baton Twirling performed alongside Rise Up Fitness and Trek Theatre at Memorial Middle School.  Pictured (left to right) Anastasia, Brooklynn, Karissa, and Jessica performed basic march. Anastasia, Brooklynn, and Karissa performed auxilary routines, Anastasia, Brooklynn, and Jessica performed their group routine to "Hair Up" from the Trolls soundtrack. Both Brooklynn and Jessica also performed solo routines.

Pictured (left to right) Brooklynn, Anastasia, and Jessica competed at the Oregon State Championships bringing home first place in their beginning team routine to 'Hair Up' from the Trolls soundtrack. Jessica also brought home a first place in her Novice Solo Twirl. Way to go girls!

Reign performed alongside Rise Up Fitness and Sick Town Derby Dames. Brooklynn, Anastasia, and Jessica (pictured left to right) performed their basic march and 'Hair Up' routine. Brooklynn and Jessica both performed solo routines as well. Proceeds from this performances benefited the Albany Fairmount Grange.

Our youngest twirler Anastasia Williams, 4, performed in Albany Public Library's Annual Talent Show. They she didn't win a prize, she got first place in our eyes!

Our twirlers marched with Rise Up Fitness in the Lebanon Strawberry Festival Parade. Everyone did amazing in the super hot 105 degree, 2.5 mile parade! I couldn't be more proud!

Our twirlers particpated in Linn Benton Community College Dance Team's Showcase. They performed their Star Wars routine twice and stole the show!

Our twirlers particpated in Rise Up Fitness Studio's Star Wars Day performance.  Our twirlers performed their Star Wars routine and Basic March. They did a wonderful job. Proceeds from the show went to Memorial Middle School.

Four of our twirlers participated in their very first competition entering into three events each. Everyone took home ribbons! :D

Reign Baton Twirling marched with Rise Up Fitness in the Albany Downtown Twice Around Holiday Parade. We won "Cutest Participants"!

 Reign Baton Twirling marched with Rise Up Fitness in theCorvallis Christmas Parade. Despite the 19 degree weather our kids were troopers and won "Best Non Float"!

Rise Up Fitness hosted a juggling workshop and three of our twirlers attended. Not only did they have fun learning to juggle, but they learned how to make their own juggling balls and got to take them home.

Two of our twirlers participated in their first ever competition. They each performed their Basic March and a Duet. We brought home a 1st, 2nd, and 4th place!

Reign Baton Twirling marched with Rise Up Fitness in the Albany Downtown Twice Around Holiday Parade. The studio won "Most Spirited". A great time was had by everyone!

Reign Baton Twirling marched their first parade with Rise Up Fitness in the Corvallis Christmas Parade!  After standing in the pouring rain for over an hour, the sky cleared up just in time for the parade to start.  Though cold & soaked, the girls had an amazing time!

Rise Up Fitness of Albany hosted a baton twirling workshop.  6 kids came, worked hard, learned lots of tricks and had a great time! Looking forward to starting a class!
